  The smoke is a great all-around restaurant, i would highly recommend it to anyone who visits or lives in Collingwood! The prices are fair and the smoked food they offer (mainly meat) is amazing. They list their gluten free and vegan options on the menu for anyone who id concerned about that.

  I would give this place 5 stars but definitely not happy with my last visit. My fiancé & I went here a month ago and absolutely loved the food despite the crappy service. Since we loved the food last time we decided to come again this weekend. Our meals were not good and the serviced sucked even more.. Not happy..

  Service was great. Food just ok. I judge a BBQ restaurant on their brisket. If the brisket is good, chances are the rest of the menu is too. If you're looking for authentic southern BBQ brisket this isn't it. Thinly sliced (obviously earlier in the day), the colour of roast beef, zero bark, almost no fat, and seasoning sprinkled on the slices = NOT southern brisket. Claiming this is competition winning brisket (on menu) is 'alternative fact' territory, or they served something radically different at that competition four years ago... That said the rest of the food was decent. The house sauces (5!) were tasty, and varied in flavour. I'll be back to try some other items on the menu, albeit with lowered expectations....

  Oh I wish this place was in Toronto! Some of the best food ever, huge potions, great sauces and good service. We'll certainly be back again next time we're in town.
